PRODUCTION NOTES
I think the best article I read about the 700 Billon Bail Out was by Kathleen Parker of the Washington Post who interviewed Mitt Romney who said
"no one has any interest in bailing out fat cats who made bad decisions.” The purpose of the bill is to stabilize the financial sector so the economy doesn’t collapse. The $700 billion, which is designed only to keep the credit system alive, is necessary but not sufficient. “Our tax policies, energy policies, education policies, investment strategies -- all are going to have to be tuned up.”

PRODUCTION NOTES
There not much to report or comment on this episode. I am now over the 2008 Election and frankly don't give a hoot over who wins. I mean eight years of Bush and this is all we have to choose from? It's a little like being a kid when you are told by an adult there is a surprise awaiting. You start getting excited and then you're told to go clean your room and that is the surprise...

PRODUCTION NOTES
Ive been thinking that every year I have a plan and make some new year resolutions. Since moving to the United States none of them have been fulfilled. Also the USA election is on the home stretch so I like to use the adapted line of Roy and H.G about sport (when too much politics is barely enough) to describe this edtiion..

PRODUCTION NOTES
While making this edition I decided to keep a tally of Retro vs. Current - Expect to be awed like the Australians who first watched color Television in 1975. Are you Political Correct? Do you find yourself thinking before you say something? Do you agree with what another person says even though you don't agree with them? Well you may have a doze of Political Correctness...

PRODUCTION NOTES
Finally a new episode! I took a while longer getting this done (plus setting up vindaloo as a dot com held up completion)...also I had a few rods in the fire lining up an interview and got to speak to Paula Steel of UK outfit Royal Treatment Plant. I also suffered a mild flu this week so I have a deeper voice this episode. I wish I could keep this voice as I prefer it to regular voice. Plus I could earn a good living doing voice overs. Oh well..

PRODUCTION NOTES
Back when this show was on 3RRR I had to come up with a title for a show. I decided on Vindaloo Cocktail then after I told the powers that be at 3RRR the show name that was it. I then thought it would have been better if it was called 'Friday Night Fever'. But it was too late, so I decided each episode would come out with a working title each week. Well now that is a rod for my back, so each episode continues the lame tradition of working titles. The only downside is that they get lamer when you get to thinking 'The Sound of a One Armed Bandit Clapping' is a workable working title. </itunes:summary>

PRODUCTION NOTES
There used to be a time when there was a panic over subliminal messages being placed into music. Mostly this was perpetuated by lunatic Christians during the 80's. I remember I had a boy scout leader (yes I had to admit that I boy scout) who totally bought into the whole back masking paranoia and wanted to speak to my parents about it. So I stopped going and then CDs came out and the whole thing died out. This is the episode when I decided 60 mins would be the norm for all things Vindaloo. </itunes:summary>

PRODUCTION NOTES
Here is the comeback episode - thanks to the Bush Tax Check I bought a laptop and finally was able to resume podcasting along with everyman and his Doberman. This episode features a PSA which I used too many of and now I've cut back on including these in Vindaloo Cocktail podcasts. </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Back in 2005 I was working at a commercial RAWK! radio station called KKXX in Bakersfield. It reformatted and I was moved across to a News Talk radio station to be a Traffic Anchor and Producer producing radio promos and so on. While working late one night I made episode 1 of this Podcast which due to an oversight on my behalf my talk breaks were only in one channel and it sounded like shite. So I buried the project and soon after I stopped working in that industry. It wasn't until recently where I got some equipment to resume the project. I resumed at episode 2 but while going through my archives found the data disc containing all the files used on Episode 1 and so revisited and re-did the talk breaks, hence Episode 1 Redux. </itunes:summary>
